Great Annual Fish Count Events for Monterey and Carmel Bays
Here's the scoop on upcoming Great Annual Fish Count events in my part of the world, including one survey led by me (July 16). If you plan to attend any of these events, contact the person(s) listed. Note that these events are FREE!
Basic Fish ID Seminar, Monday June 6 & Wednesday June 8, 7-9pm, at Diver Dan's in Santa Clara, led by Kari Larson. If planning to attend, e-mail Kari.
Basic Fish ID Seminar and Dives, Saturday June 25, 3pm, ID Seminar at Monterey Bay Aquarium, led by Gil Falcone (meet near Will-Call, to right of main entrance). Fish Count Dives the same day: 9:30 am, Coral Street; 8:00pm, Breakwater Night Dive.If planning to attend, e-mail John Wolfe , or call him at 510-540-0422.

Advanced Fish ID Seminar, Saturday July 9, NOAA Conference Room, 299 Foam Street, Monterey:
